He was predeceased by: his father Charles "Chuck". He is survived by: his mother Norma Jean; his siblings, Liz Niswonger (Larry), Dave Shisler (Teresa), Rich Shisler (Cindy), Phil Shisler (Melanie), Judy Bowman (Jimmy), Teresa Brown, John Shisler (Tonya), Karl Shisler and Bill Shisler (Lisa); and his children, Danny Shisler and Holly Bundy-Reichard.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Charlie's love of dogs to the Humane Society of Greater Dayton.
