He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou Oswalt (Ater); his children, Joycelyn Dean (late John "Moe" Dean) and Colonel Brian Oswalt (Jennifer); his stepchildren, Michael Carroll, Michelle Carroll and Steve Jones; his sister Lois Jean Pcola (late Joseph Pcola); his grandchildren, Jennifer Pellen (James), Krista Costanza, Garrett, Noelle, Camden, Mara, Graham and Piper Oswalt; and his great grandchild Taytum Pellen.
