He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold E. Gerken and Betty L. Gerken (Smith); his wife Brenda D. Gerken; and his son Shad Gerken. He is survived by: his children, Kurie Drummond (Mike), Kristopher Gerken (Sarah), Kristin "Sis" Snyder (Ryan) and Ryan Hufford; and his sisters, Pam Weaver (Mike), Debbie Bingham (Jack) and Tammy Welbaum. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a local animal shelter of one's choice in Butch's memory.
