He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl R. Cornell and Virginia Brendil Cornell; his wife Dorothy Ann Kaiser; his daughter Cindie Jankowski; and his siblings, Harold, Tom, Ed Cornell and Virginia Wilkerson.
He is survived by: his children, William G. Cornell Jr. of Brookfield, George R. Cornell (Vicki) of Masury and Diane L. Miller (James) of Hubbard; his grandchildren, Tammy, Bo, Lynle, Melissa, Amy and Ryan; and his stepgrandchildren, Jennifer and Jamie. He is also survived by 15 great grandchildren.
