He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold D. Watkins and Mae Wiley Watkins; his wife Carolyn S. Ruby; his stepdaughter Kristen Cox; and his siblings, Buddy Watkins, Donna McCaughan, Jack Watkins, Ralph Watkins, Janice Brininstool, Chuck Watkins and Eddie Watkins.
He is survived by: his children, Lisa Groscost (Brent) of Hubbard, Daniel Ruby (Kelly) of Gurnee, Illinois, Stephanie Pitts of Pennsylvania and Amy Ludwig of Florida; and his siblings, Martha Griffith (Steve) of Austintown, Ohio, Ray Watkins (Nancy) of Hubbard, Dicky Watkins of Hubbard and Joyce Schiraldi (John) of Hubbard. He is also survived by six grandchildren and a great granddaughter.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Stewart-Kyle Funeral Home (407 W Liberty St, Hubbard, OH 44425).
