He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin Roddy and Ann Hallwood Roddy; his stepfather John Francis; his siblings, Elda Schuler, Nancy Pavlicko, Viola Gooderl, Mary Ann Leigh, Helen McGlynn and Franklin Robert Roddy; and his stepson Anthony R. Repasky.
He is survived by: his pets, Archie, Ozzy, LuLu and Sammy; his wife Patricia Ferrier; his children, Roy T. Roddy Jr. (Cheryl) of Struthers, Michael J. Roddy (Christina) of Canfield, Robert F. Roddy (Teri) of Struthers and Christine Marie Roddy of Denver, Colorado; his stepchildren, Debra Catolico of Hubbard and James Repasky of Austintown; his grandchildren, Timothy, Allison, Michael Jr., Joshua, Matthew, Zackary Roddy, Kara, James Jr., Jack, Patrick Repasky, Ali McCloud, Killian Repasky-Denniston, Alexa Yemma, Colin and Jakob Ryan; and his great grandchildren, Mason, Quinn Roddy and Anthony Repasky.
