He is survived by: his wife Rosemarie Theresa Smith (Walley); his children, Beverly Anderson (David) of Hubbard and David Smith (Molly) of Hartford; and his grandchildren, Michael Anderson, Mikayla Smith and Jacqueline Stanko (John). He is also survived by two great grandchildren.
