With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Karen Banic of Hubbard, Ohio, born in Youngstown, Ohio, who passed away on July 10, 2022 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert H. Steele and Mary Frances Williams Steele; her husband Benjamin M. Banic; her brothers, William Steele and Richard Steele; and her brother-in-law Dana Johnson.
She is survived by: her children, Laura A. Capone (Geno) and Michael D. Banic (Tina) of Hubbard; her grandchildren, Nicholas Capone (Courtney) and Emily Capone; her great grandchild Benedetto; and her sister Francie Johnson of Hubbard. She is also survived by many other family members and friends.
