She was predeceased by : her parents, Gerald Sr. Maietta and Ida Seiling Maietta; her husband Anthony "Tony" Kowalski; and her brother Gerald Maietta Jr.. She is survived by : her brother Frank Maietta (Wendy) of Hubbard; and her nieces, Marie Kowalski (Eric Darr) and Brittany Emery (Charlie Jordan).
