He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas M. Garzan and Elizabeth Ann Turner Garzan; and his brother Robert L. Smith. He is survived by: his children, Joseph P. Mortimer Jr. (Lindsey) of Hermitage and Korina L. Mortimer of Hubbard; and his siblings, Roland Mortimer of Campbell and Cheryl Lambert (Jerry) of Painesville. He is also survived by 10 Grandchildren.
