She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter H. Scott and Virginia E. Fricker Scott; and her brother Robert W. Scott. She is survived by: her husband Thomas P. Ryser; her children, Thomas P. Ryser Jr. (Julie) of Hubbard and Michele L. Merkel (Eric) of Howland; her sister Sally Pearson of Mogadore; and her grandchildren, Erica, Ian Merkel, Grace and Gillian Ryser.
