Grace Clemith (Redman) Groves Obituary
Grace Clemith Groves, 78, of 119 Cyrus Avenue, Hubbard, Ohio, and formerly of Petersburg, W.Va., died Sunday, October 7, 1990, at Northwest Medical Center, Hubbard.
Born on March 24, 1912, in Petersburg, she was a daughter of the late Arch B. Redman and Anna Elizabeth (Reel) Redman. In addition to her parents she also was preceded in death by two sons, Ronald L. Bennett and Michael A. Bennett; seven brothers, William Redman, Holmes Redman, Page Redman, Emmitt Redman, John Redman, Charles Redman and Olie Redman, and four sisters, Jennie Redman, Lena Redman, Cora Redman and Anna Redman.
Mrs. Groves moved to Hubbard immediately after she and her husband were married on Feb. 12, 1952. She had worked as a waitress for United Food and Management Co. at Tucson Division for 25 years, retiring in 1974. She was a member of the church, United Methodist Women, Fifth Wheel Club and was a table parent for KNOW Club.
Surviving are her husband, Walter W. Groves; two daughters, Patricia D. Skruck and Carolyn J. Johnson, both of Hubbard; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, and one sister, Carrie Redman, of Petersburg.
Arrangements were by Kelley & Son Funeral Home.
Interment will be in Hubbard Union Cemetery, Hubbard.
