He was predeceased by : his parents, Felix Madeline and Lauretta Petten Madeline; his wife Deloris M. Schlatter; and his sisters, Justina Nadeja, Clarann Longo and Geraldine Sich.

He is survived by : his daughters, Renee Lee (Roy) of Hubbard and Deborah Madeline of Hubbard; and his grandchildren, Rachelle, Tara (Chad), Roy Jr., Mark and Raelyn. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
