She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman L. Farnbauer and Elizabeth Manning Farnbauer; her husband Joseph E. Sakmar; her son Phillip Sakmar; her brother James Farnbauer; her stepgrandson Michael Abighanem; and her nephew Michael Helon.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Ann Bradbury (Mark), Thomas E. Sakmar (Tina) of Courtland, OH, Joseph J. Sakmar (Erin) of Bonita Springs, FL., Karen Metzinger (Al Fast) of Columbiana, OH and Kenneth J. Sakmar (Amie) of Atlanta, GA.; and her sister Rita Mae Combis of Poland, OH. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren and 4 great -great grandchildren.
