“I remember Dennis was very dedicated to public and community service. It was Dennis; while serving on the Hubbard Police Force who saved my mother's (Betty MacDonald) life when the Parkview Apartments caught fire in Hubbard 25 years ago. Dennis climbed up the ladder on to the patio and carried my mother down the ladder to safety. Moments later the windows blew out of the building as the flame intensified. Dennis was a real Hero that day.”
