He was predeceased by: his parents, George Halas and Patricia McCabe Halas; and his wife Mary Jo Davis Halas. He is survived by: his sons, Daniel Halas of Columbiana, David Halas of Leetonia and Jacob Halas (Teresa) of Columbus; his grandchildren, Hope Halas, Mara Halas, Ava Halas, Danica Halas and Dane Halas; and his brothers, Kevin Halas and George Halas. He is also survived by two nephews; one niece; a stepdaughter and four step grandchildren.
