He is survived by: his wife Grace Peters (Swearingen); his daughter Laura; his son-in-law Quinten Swartz of Mount Vernon; his granddaughter Hosanna Swartz; and his siblings, Bernard Peters (Sandy), Martha Cisco-Stevenson (John), Judy Arrington (Mike) and Mary Sapp (John).
