It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of George Oackes of Howard, Ohio, born in Spencerville, Ohio, who passed away on January 12, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Oackes and Fanny Oackes (Harter); and his brother-in-law Irv Bindel. He is survived by: his children, Brian Oackes and Cheryl Brumit (Aaron); his grandchildren, Lauren, Ashley Brumit, Braeden and Caleb Oackes; his sister June Bindel; and his nephew Jack Bindel (Pat).
There will be no public services observed however if you wish to make a memorial contribution in honor of Southern Care Hospice.
