It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bertha Fortney (Howard, Ohio), born in Marlinton, West Virginia, who passed away on March 19, 2019, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur McFadden and Nancy McFadden; her husband Clifford C. Campbell; her former husband Orville B. Fortney; her son Richard McFadden; her granddaughter Kelly Jo Flood; her great grandchild McKenzie; her daughters-in-law, Rebecca McFadden, Peg Updike and Carlanna Campbell; and her siblings, Harlan, Ashford, Walter, Arnel, Robert, French and Lily Fortney.
She is survived by: her children, Carmel McFadden (Diane) of Howard, Larry Campbell of Howard, Gary Campbell (Darlene) of Danville and Jo Ann Buckingham (Randy) of Howard; and her stepchildren, Ruth Lambert, Betty Booth (Ed), Linda Fugate (William), Fred Fortney (Wanda) and Robert Fortney (Patty). She is also survived by 26 grandchildren, 49 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandson, a sister.
