With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sylvester Meyer of Houston, Ohio, born in Shelby, Ohio, who passed away on September 19, 2022 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Henry Herman; his former spouse Jean M. Meyer (Hackemoeller); his parents-in-law, John, Marcella Meyer, Ray, Lois Meyer, Clarence, Ruth Ann Meyer, Rita Meyer, Robert Tebbe, Henry Fullenkamp and Francis Hoying; and his grandsons, Wes Meyer and Arliss Clark.
He is survived by: his children, Roger Meyer (Theresa Grillot) of Russia, Terry Meyer (Deb) of Covington, Steve Meyer (Roxanne) of Houston, Joyce Grilliot (Tom) of Covington, Arthur Meyer (Donna) of Covington, Connie Cain (Jeff) of Troy, Sharon Luebke (Ken) of Fort Loramie, Mark Meyer (Hortencia) of Springfield, Shirley Arnett (Greg) of Covington, Gary Meyer (Buffy) of Sidney and James Meyer (Charlotte) of Houston; his sisters, Mary Margaret Fullenkamp of Russia and Leola Hoying of Russia; and his stepchildren, Bill Clark (Mitzi) of Houston, Jeff Clark (Sue) of Bradford and Deb Clason (Bill) of Covington. He is also survived by 37 grandchildren; 81 great-grandchildren.
