George Jones Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 8, 2021 we had to say goodbye to George Jones of Houston, Ohio, born in Shelby, Ohio. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George E. Jones and Sarah Catherine Jones (Pickering); his wife Olive F. "Ollie" Mumaw; and his daughter Sally Curl. He is survived by: his children, Terry Jones (Karen) of Piqua and Susan Rutherford (Bill) of Houston; and his grandchildren, Jason Curl (Joanna), Brian Curl (Sandy), Michael Curl (Trisha), Harry Jones (Angie), Cyrus Jones, Renee Jones, Zack Freeling (Kelly) and Ashley Freeling. He is also survived by fourteen great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren.
He loved helping people, playing cards, especially Euchre, Solitaire and Garbage, and working Word Find puzzles carried him through the pandemic.
