Elizabeth McKinley Whitman Obituary

We are sad to announce that on January 29, 2022 we had to say goodbye to Elizabeth McKinley Whitman of Houston, Ohio, born in Rockland, Maine. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Whitman (Bob); her parents, Robert McKinley and Edna McKinley; her sister Ruth Herridge; and her brother-in-law Bill Whitman (Alvida).

She is survived by: her daughter Alison Phillips (Jim); her grandson Andrew Chambers (Liz); her great grandchildren, Jack and Benjamin; her grandchildren, David Chambers (Allison) and Megan Phillips; her brother-in-law Bill Herridge; and her nieces, Jennifer Wallace, Jean Runyon, Elizabeth Herridge, Margaret Herridge and Catherine Herridge.

These traits were especially evident as she fought off lymphoma in 2002, 2007 and, thankfully for the last time, in 2013 and endured the COVID lockdown at her assisted living facility.
