He was predeceased by: his siblings, George Wehneman and Hazel Jackson; his brother-in-law Merle Jackson; his sister Opal Kingery; and his friend Kate O'Roark.
He is survived by: his sister Nola Hines of Troy; and his brother-in-law Virgil Kingery of Kansas. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Johns Lutheran Church, Melody Men, or Houston Fire & Rescue.
