He was predeceased by: his parents, James Johnson and Edna Johnson; his daughter Kathleen Abbott; and his grandson Danny K. Devol Jr.. He is survived by: his son David Lee Johnson; his sister Ruth Woodburn; his stepsons, Jeffrey and Timothy Spencer; his grandchildren, Waneta, John and Heather; and his former wife Sue Johnson. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
