He was predeceased by: his parents, VanDyke Leonard Cooper and Mildred Green Cooper; his wives, Mildred Jane Myer Cooper and Karen Sue Brewer Cooper; and his siblings, Joyce Cooper Erwin and Harold Cooper.
He is survived by: his children, Cynthia Hatfield (Brian) of Carrollton, Rodney Cooper (Caralee) of Scio, Bruce Cooper (Kathy) of Pavillion, WY and Jason Cooper (Alexandra) of Gastonia, NC; his close friend Shelby Dalrymple of Hopedale; his stepchildren, James Dalrymple of Amsterdam and Sharon Wright (Joseph) of Amsterdam; his brother Paul Cooper of Carrollton; and his pets, Blue and Daisy. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Koch Funeral Home (101 W Main St, Scio, OH 43988). A celebration of life was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
