He was predeceased by: his father Karl Frederick; his wife Mary Elizabeth Geiss; and his brother Karl Frederick Geiss, Jr.. He is survived by: his children, Wilbert C. "Chuck" Geiss, Jr. (Marilyn), Janet Quast (Neal), Paul Murphy-Geiss (Gail), Nancy Althaus (David) and Elizabeth Hawley (Timothy). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and a lifetime of collected friends.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Wilbert's memory to the Medina United Methodist Church-Missions Fund, 4747 Foote Rd., Medina, OH 44256.
