She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Swinehart and Dorothy Swinehart (Tharp); her siblings, Martha, Edith, Betty, Larry, Leroy and Louis; and her siblings-in-law, William Marks and Susan Swinehart.
She is survived by: her husband Ronald Dean Scherer I; her son Ron Scherer (Tricia); her grandchildren, Misty Seith (Bruce) of Shreve, Bristen, Nick and Cassi Scherer; her siblings, Gary Swinehart of Holmesville and Margaret Marks of Millersburg; and her siblings-in-law, Anna Swinehart, Shirley Swinehart and Owen Beachy. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
