With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Melva Rohr of Holmesville, Ohio, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bert Day and Roxie Day (Gadd); her husband James C. Rohr; and her brother-in-law James Koci. She is survived by: her children, Christopher Rohr (Jody) of Millersburg, Elizabeth Rohr of Holmesville, Timothy J. Rohr (Evelyn) of Millersburg, Virginia Wilcox of Northfield, Anita Craycraft (Douglas) of Holmesville and Noelle Rohr of California; her grandchildren, Jessica Rohr (Phil Apel), Rebecca Rohr (Ben Delano), Brandon Saunders, Rachel Embree (John), Chase Saunders, Spenser Saunders, Forrest Saunders, Jesse Saunders, Madeline Saunders, Renee Rohr (Josh Frydrychowski), Matthew Rohr, Marcus Rohr (Kallie), Jarrod Rich (Abbey), Ian Wilcox (Amanda), Cole Wilcox, Tiffany Stutzman (Joshua), Jennifer Kaiser (Zach) and Katelyn Zimmerly (Jack); and her sisters, Sharon Koci of Florida and Diane Bryant (Ron) of Florida. She is also survived by eleven great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Ripley Church of Christ (12298 County Rd 330, Big Prairie, OH 44611). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or a charity of the donor's choice.
