He was predeceased by: his parents, Roscoe Nelson and Maxine Gould; and his stepdaughter Becky Martin. He is survived by: his wife Betty L. Carpenter; his daughter Jeannie Pearson (Sam) of Wooster, Ohio; and his stepchildren, Bonna Straits (Doug) of Millersburg, Brandy Martin of Millersburg and Brandon Martin (Morgan) of Wooster, Ohio. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; one great grand daughter; a brother; and his dogs.
