He was predeceased by: his parents, George Mendenhall and Pauline Mendenhall (Young); his brother Benny Mendenhall; and his half-siblings, Joe Wood, Sonny Wood and Suzie Mendenhall.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kelly (Dwayne Landrey) and Jodi (Mark Schlechty); and his half-siblings, Butch Mendenhall, PeeWee Mendenhall and Janet Barkley Frank (Dann).
