He was predeceased by: his father Donald E. Dotson, I; his grandmother Jackie Hathaway; his aunt Connie; his uncle Wayne Hawkey; and his cousin Patrick Peercy.
He is survived by: his mother Zula "Lee" Dotson (Mace); his siblings, Brenda Garber and John Dotson (Heather Davis); and his nieces and nephews, Christopher Keiser (Jamie McClung), Anna Garber, Brittney, Devin Combs and Bailey Dotson.
