He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Hays and Bertha Hays (Nunier); his wife Maxine J. Hays (Coon); his son Michael Hays; his grandson Christopher Wilt; and his siblings, LeRoy Hays and Eldora Prather.
He is survived by: his daughters, Carla Mintkenbaugh (Dan) of Arcanum and Cathy Hays of Hollansburg; his grandchildren, Stephen, Ashley Hays, Brooke, Shelby Mintkenbaugh and Hannah Hays; and his brother Stephen Hays (Shirley) of Crestview Florida. He is also survived by his numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be given to Tribute Funeral Homes to assist with final expenses.
