He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Ziehr and Nellie Ziehr (Hart). He is survived by: his wife Shirley A. Ziehr; and his children, Tina Ziehr, Patrick L. Ziehr, Jr. (Christina) and Lawrence Ziehr (Annie). He is also survived by seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
