He was predeceased by: his sister Jane Pernia; his parents, Arthur Pernia and Rose Pernia (Lufts); and his siblings, Albert, Adelbert Pernia and Sandra Moore (Pernia).
He is survived by: his sister Jean McDole (Pernia). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; one great-grandchild, and numerous nieces and nephews.
