He was predeceased by: his parents, John Gustwiller and Elizabeth Gustwiller (Diemer); his wife Janet Coressel; his son Paul; his grandsons, Gerald and Roger; his siblings, Alfred, Leroy, Bernard, Virgil, William, Raymond, Viola Harmon and Mary Agnes Gustwiller; and his parents-in-law, Leonard Coressel, Jr., Cecelia Gustwiller, Catherine Schlegel, Frances Coressel, Dennis Coressel, Flossie, Viola, Margaret and Theresa Gustwiller.
He is survived by: his children, Leonard Gustwiller (Mary) of Archbold, Barbara Irelan (Bob) of Wauseon, Robert Gustwiller (Mary) of Wauseon and Steve Gustwiller (Lisa) of Wauseon; his grandchildren, Scott Irelan (Krista), Joe Irelan, Becky Dadisman (Justin), Sarah Grim (Heath), Monica Dupee (Steve), Jeremy Gustwiller (Bridget), Aaron Gustwiller, Ashly Dumas (Todd), Stephanie Lawson (Kunle), Kendra Courtney (Brian) and Caleb Gustwiller (Emily); and his siblings-in-law, Michael Coressel of Archold, Marlene Coressel of Archbold and Martha Coressel of St. Michel's Ridge, Defiance.. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends.
The family requests that memorial contributions be given to St. Caspar Catholic Church, Women's Health Resources, or the donor's preference.
