He was predeceased by: his father Ignatius W. Okuly (Bill). He is survived by: his mother Mary Jane Okuly (Beavers); his sisters, Anne Sharpe (Mike) of Liberty Center, Cindy Kidd (James) of Bainbridge, Betsy Gibson (Jeff) of Napoleon and Lucy Brown of Defiance; his nieces and nephews, Joe, Wesley Sharpe, Molly Church (Sam), William Meade, Eli Phillips, David Kidd, Chloe Kidd, Maci Jo and Levi Sparks; and his great-niece Olivia Buchholz.
Memorial contributions in John's honor may be gifted to the family or Holgate Fire Department.
