Earl Abshire Obituary

He was predeceased by: his siblings, Burl, Eugene, Phil, Lawson, Lauchie, Virgie Justice, Ruby Ellis, Novella Bartley and Rosalee Hensley.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Abshire (Rettig); his children, Tricia Mesler (Mike) of Grove City, Ohio, Ken Abshire (Krystal) of Ashland, Ohio, Sue Abshire of Holgate and Donna Abshire of Troy, Ohio.; his grandchildren, Kristen Mesler, Olivia Mesler (Ashlynn), Brookelyn Abshire, Jonathon Abshire (Sara Hobart), Skyler McLain, Devon Abshire, Keith Abshire and Kathryn Abshire; his great grandchild Everleigh; and his sister Patty Hunt (Roger) of Phyllis.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Calendar St. John's United Church of Christ (I-946 OH-108, Holgate, OH 43527).
Memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Earl's beloved St. John's UCC Cemetery.
