It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Hoops (Holgate, Ohio), who passed away on November 28, 2019, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Hoops and Esther Hoops (Yungmann). He is survived by: his wife Nancy Gerken; his daughters, LuAnn Hogrefe (Nikk), Vicki Russell (David) and Mary Merillat (Chris); his grandchildren, Kaitlann Shell, Seth Russell and Eli Russell; and his sisters, Lois Rosebrock (Walter) and Irma Jean Hoops.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Donald's memory can be made to St. Stephen's Lutheran Church, Putnam County Hospice, or a charity of your choice.
