She was predeceased by: her father Melvin Gene. She is survived by: her mother Lois Thiel (Royal); her husband Jim; her sons, Alex Buchholz (Tricia) and Austin Buchholz (Shelby); and her siblings, Constance Latham (Tirey), Carol Deniston (Alun), Charles Thiel (Denise) and Catrina Harding (Randy).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the St. Peter Piano Fund.
