It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alvera Groll of Holgate, Ohio, born in Defiance, Ohio, who passed away on August 22, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Wirth and Clara Wirth (Boehm); her husband Lloyd Groll; and her siblings, Donald Wirth, Alma Bunke, Mabel Wirth and Betty Hohenberger.
She is survived by: her son Randall Groll (Diana) of Holgate, OH; her grandchildren, Michael Groll of Phoenix, AZ, Michelle Wright (Cortney) of Holgate, OH and Melinda Austermiller (Bradley) of Leland, NC.; and her great grandchildren, Loryn, Haleigh Wright, Ayla, Brynn, Caelyn and Dax Austermiller.
Memorials are suggested to the church, or to a charity of the donor's choice.
