He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Spencer and Elizabeth Spencer (Norton); his siblings, David Spencer, Dorothy Spencer and Ruth Vancura; and his grandson Richard Dyer.
He is survived by: his son Glenn of Hiram; his wife Marilyn Spencer (Hertzog); his children, Sandra Spencer of Hiram, Paul of Hiram, Maryellen Spencer of Hiram and Donna Spencer of Hiram; his sister Janet Phelps of Garrettsville; his grandchildren, Parker Spencer (Ashley), Hanna Vojtush (Jon) and Maddison Egli (Charlie); and his great grandchildren, Chip Vojtush and Wyatt Spencer.
