He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver Ruple and Louise Ruple (Kuntz); his grandson Brett Alan Hall; his son-in-law Gregory Hall; and his siblings, Robert Ruple, David Ruple and Patricia Marcus.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Heath; his children, Randy Ruple (Penny), Charles Ruple, Marvin Ruple (Sherry), Bernard Ruple Jr. (Paula) and Michele Ruple-Hall; and his sister Norma Freelan. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.
