With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janis B Avery of Hinckley, Ohio, born in Oberlin, Ohio, who passed away on January 23, 2024 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Balmer and Irene Balmer; her husband Kenneth Avery; her siblings, Joan and Kendall; her daughter-in-law Valerie; and her grandsons, Josh Kapsar and Nicholas Avery.
She is survived by: her sons, Mark of Medina, OH, Brian of Lone Pine, CA, Kurt (Aimee) of Centerville, OH, Steve (Wendy) of Canfield, OH and Matt (Mary) of Stow, OH; and her grandchildren, Erin Kapsar, Jordan Avery (Abby), Alison Revolorio (Freddie), Tyler Lorn (Michelle), Travis Avery (Libby), Josh Avery (Carissa), Alisha Brownlee (Jay), Luke Avery (Helen), Austin Avery, Jonny Avery (Hannah), Sarah Avery and Clayton Avery. She is also survived by 24 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
