He was predeceased by: his parents, William A. Schieve and Marie Schieve; his sons, James George Schieve and Jeffrey Alan Schieve; and his brother William.
He is survived by: his friend Judith; his children, Gerald Schieve, Jr., Dawn Liebenguth and Chris Schieve; his grandchildren, Jessica Eisenloeffel (Philip), Joe Liebenguth, Alex Schieve and Jenna Judith Liebenguth; his great grandchildren, Owen and Adelynn Eisenloeffel; and his granddaughter Grace Marie.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in Gerald's memory to the Medina County SPCA, 8790 Guilford Rd., Seville, Ohio 44273.
