He was predeceased by: his parents, Ford M. Gibson and Margaret Gibson; and his brother Gary Gibson. He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Gibson (McCloskey); his children, Frank Gibson (Sherri), David Gibson (Deborah), Steven Gibson (Cheryl), Todd Gibson (Vicki) and Amy Gibson-Waters (John); his grandchildren, Tyler, Jessie, Travis, Tiffany, Jason, Rachel, Katie, Keri and Cody; his great grandchildren, Sawyer, Luke, Ellie, Hank and Quinn; and his sisters, Debra Robeson and Gail Yeager.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in Don's name to the American Alzheimer's Association (8180 Greensboro Dr., suite 400, McLean, VA 22102.).
