He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Tharp and Louise Tharp (Freshour); his wife Patricia Ann Tharp (Allen); and his granddaughter Tiffany Williams. He is survived by: his children, Tonya Williams (Dave) of Leesburg, OH and Rodney Tharp (Jenny) of Nokomis, FL; his girlfriend Bonnie Campbell; his grandchildren, Angel Washington (Bill), Cody Williams (Naomi), Tyler Williams, Aaliyah Williams and Dylan Tharp; and his sister Wanda Bond (Tom Koehler) of Westerville.

Viewing will be held on Friday, October 4th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Thompson Funeral Home (241 E Main St, Hillsboro, OH 45133). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 4th 2024 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A procession will be held on Friday, October 4th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Hillsboro Cemetery (State Rte 138, Hillsboro, OH 45133).
