He was predeceased by: his parents, William C. Owens and Audrey V. Owens (Palmer); his wife Mary Baxla-Owens; and his siblings, Ralph, Pat, Wanita and Janette.

He is survived by: his daughter Audrey Edwards of Greenfield; and his sister Ann.
