William Leininger Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William Leininger of Hillsboro, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 5, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell L. Leininger and Blanche Leininger (Pence); his grandson Beau Kelley; and his sisters, Phyllis Frazer, June Zugg and Isabelle Ludwick.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley E. Leininger (Theiss); his children, Mark Leininger (Lisa), Melinda Leininger Kelley and Michelle "Shelli" Leininger; and his grandchildren, Cassidy Overstake (Chris), Cody Kelley, Clayton Leininger (Ashley), Ashley Ann Mootispaw (Curtis) and Jacob Paul Leininger (Lindsey).
Viewing was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Thompson Funeral Homes & Cremation Care (241 E Main St, Hillsboro, OH 45133). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:15 PM at the Prospect Cemetery (8846 OH-73, Hillsboro, OH 45133).
