He was predeceased by: his father James W. Hart Sr.; and his brother Jeffrey Smith. He is survived by: his mother Charlotte Ann Smith Hart; his wife Cheryle Truman Hart; his sons, Jeffrey Michael Hart (Ashley) of Morrow, Jonathan Byron Hart (Ashley) of Hillsboro, Chad William Hart (Bethany) of Lynchburg and Matthew James Thomas Hart (Danielle) of Georgetown; and his brothers, Joel Dean Hart of Belfast and Kerry Stanley Hart (Lou Ann) of Pittsburgh. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren.
