Smart of Hillsboro, Ohio, born in Cincinnati, Ohio, who passed away on August 10, 2022, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Smart and Alberta Smart (McMillan); and his wife Debbie L. Smart. He is survived by: his sons, James "Jim" Cooper (Lanette) of Hillsboro and Randy Cooper (Kelli) of Hillsboro; his grandchildren, Kenna Cooper, R. J. Cooper and Jimmy Cooper; his great grandchildren, Brookelynn Cooper and Eli Wright; his brother Vic Smart of Harrison; and his sisters-in-law, Bonnie Maas of Lynchburg and Sandra Hunter (James) of Gettysburg, PA..
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hillsboro First State Bank under the name of Randy Cooper for the benefit of Van Smart.
